bradbury odyssey

This was a very uneven collection. Some of the essays were scattershot to the point that I don't think they'd've been publishable if they weren't by The Great Ray Bradbury. Some were brilliantly written. Most were good. Enjoyable and leaving one with warm fuzzy feelings toward the author.

Great Ape Odyssey, by Birute Galdikas
Big pretty book full of pictures of our cousins, the great apes. The text is well-written; it's a pretty general overview and I'd already read a lot about the species discussed, so I wasn't particularly excited by it - but it read comfortably. And the pictures selected are wonderful.
