Guards Sebastian of the Old Neighborhood

A Terry Pratchett I have not read before! I'm not sure how I missed it, but I am glad to have read Night Watch #0: The Sekrit Originz. And it was good and funny. Yay.

Sebastian of Mars, by Al Sarrantonio
Sequel to Haydn of Mars. I liked it quite a bit, not quite as much as its prequel, but it had some fun twisty bits. Recommended if you like light pulpy sf with talking kitties.

The Bishop in the Old Neighborhood, by Andrew Greeley
Okay, so. Imagine you have a grandpa, whom you love, and who also tells really good stories. As he gets older, his stories aren't quite so tightly plotted and eloquently told, and maybe he's a little more self-indulgent in his digressions - but you don't mind because they're still good, plus they're somehow wiser than they used to be, and besides, it's your grandpa. Reading Fr. Greeley's books is kinda like that. Kinda. I really liked this one, I'm not sure it's the best place to start if you haven't read any of his novels before.
