Angel Wine

As with most mysteries, I wasn't really reading it for the mystery. I read these things for atmosphere, incidental research, and, most of all, characterization. Good writing also helps. This one scored high on all 4, and I will be seeking out the next in the series. Rickman seems particularly apt at managing to use multiple third-person POVs while keeping them both distinct and thoroughly credible. Yum.
