What I Did This Evening
Jun. 11th, 2002 10:07 pmI called my mom, and got my dad instead. We had a most enjoyable conversation ... then Jay informed me that he needed to go somewhere air-conditioned as soon as humanly possible. I didn't have to go, but current temperatures had that sounding like a beautiful idea. So we went to the mall. I ate a chicken gyro and a nut roll (which latter the guy tossed in for free). Then I read a few very good Canadian short stories while waiting for Jay. He came back. We found ice cream. We poked our noses in at the little scifi/fantasy/anime/comic book store. We went home. We played with the cat. I had a bath.
All is well. I'm going to go in the other room and listen to Frank Muller while working on my cross-stitch, and it is more than enough.
