chandrevyn's page, though that's hardly the first time (these things take time to percolate in my brain).
I confess to hopping around a bit, instead of sticking to the very first ten, because there're too many songs on my computer that I don't actually know.
1. "All the people mobilize, nothing left to polarize, nothing left to fake."
2. "You can find some time to be someone, like a valentine for a lonely soul."
3. "And count the times he'll shout the great 'I Am'."
4. "All the battlements are empty and the moon is laying low"
5. "Thirteenth apostle knocking at my door, telling me that I can't play with you no more."
6. "How do you numb your skin after the warmest touch? How do you slow your blood after the body rush?"
7. "Well I can't hully gully, I can't do a shimmy, but when it comes to lovin', I'm a lovin' little fool."
8. "I make a pot of coffee while catastrophe awaits me out on the lawn."
9. "If you come back, I'll take you to the garden, and we'll dance to an orchestra on the lawn. And we'll roll in the foggy dew, and dance with the ghosts upon the dawn."
10. "You wear sandals in the snow, and a smile that won't wash away."
