I actually picked this book up to give to my sister. But as I read it, I started to think maybe she's the one who recommended it to me (several years ago). Still a good book though. The first few chapters had a lot of information in them that I already knew, but later chapters were very intriguing indeed, and his style is extremely enjoyable. I liked the mix of memoir, anecdote, and history.
