Must You Go?, by Antonia Fraser (ARC)
Fragmented memoir of her decades-long marriage to Harold Pinter, written in a frantic burst right after he died, and consisting largely of excerpted diary entries. Not everyone's cup of tea - but it was definitely mine.

Best American Comics 2012, edited by Françoise Mouly, Jessica Abel, and Matt Madden
I liked the variability of this year's selections, but it wasn't one of those "POW! Right in the kissa" years... can barely remember most of what was in there now... a lot of art comics, which tend not to make a lasting impression on me.

This is How You Lose Her, by Junot Díaz
Díaz is probably the only living writer who could make me want to read a collection of stories that are almost all about a dude with a perennial tendency to be a dick to his girlfriends. He just writes them so damn well! Perhaps he is my Philip Roth.

Arcadia, by Lauren Groff (reread)
It was a little too soon to reread this, but I was excited to share it with my book club. Most of them liked it a lot, too. One advantage of the reread is that I found myself dwelling on things I raced past last time - savoring every word.

The Tale of Oat Cake Crag, by Susan Albert
Meh. I love this series, but this one was clumsy, repetitive, and twee. Bummed, hoping the next one suits me better, or I shall give up.
