But I was listening to Stevie Nicks' Landslide and thinking about how much I love the song. The lyrics are good, but I think I'm more in love with her voice, and the sounds of the words, than with the meaning. It's funny how a song about getting older and wiser makes me feel about 6. Curled up on my mom's bed, against her back, listening to her sing ever-so-quietly along. Feeling safe and loved, enjoying someone else's private reverie.
