the bloo ribbon in question

It was awarded for a cross-stitch (about 18"X12"), of which a fuzzy picture may be seen here. Maybe I'll get randomdreams to go a-fairing with me; if so, count on seeing a picture of the framed piece, complete with SHINY RIBBON. Ahem. Sorry. Just can't remember the last time I came *first* in anything. I generally avoid such direct competition.

Um, I think we're thinking the 19th, in the afternoon/evening. It's in Pueblo. Random was going to pick me up at work around 3:45ish, then we'd head down there. But we could easily go later, if it'd be better for you. Or a different day. What think you?

No, no, we'll just go a different day. I work til 3:45 six days a week, so my evenings are, like, a model of availability. (Especially since the boy is currently working the 4-12:30 shift.) I'm busy this Saturday, but available this Sunday and next Sat/Sun, on the same sort of 'well, come down to the bookstore around 3:45' dealie - or you guys could come down later. I think John was going to email you and make inquiries, I'll let you guys figure it out ... but we can TOTALLY work around your work/school stuff.

Pueblo is much closer than I thought it was... at least, closer to the Springs! =)

looks like it's gonna be a no-go on my side. I'm working as needed at the box office of a performing arts center up here, and I'm scheduled for Saturday night.
And Sunday probably wouldn't be a good idea since I start school the following day.
*grrrr* I'm trying hard to not curse. I'm soooooo sorry I can't go... I hope it doesn't mess up the original plans that you and Random had. Have a great time!

Ah well. I found out Random will be out of town this weekend anyway, so he and I will go back to our weekday plan.
But you're still totally invited to the housewarming! (If I ever get unpacked enough to have a housewarming ... at this rate it's looking like 2005;) ).
