Oddly, was just discussing this concept, sorta, with a friend today. He mentioned the idea of getting all the important climbing knots tattooed on his forearms for instant reference. This quickly cascaded into speculation of all the various interesting things one could want tattooed for quick reference. Unfortunately, there is limited "prime real estate" on the body.
I was wondering if anyone ever got one of the "munitions" cryptography codings tattooed on their body, making themselves illegal to export from the USA.
Oh, yeah, that's the problem with letting people self-define things, as always. But the coolest ones stick in my head a lot more than the lame ones. (Plus, you know, you engineers - you barely think physicists are doing science;) )
That might be a good anti-deportation strategy! Ha.
