asian farmer's almanac
Sep. 24th, 2007 09:28 pmEast Wind Melts the Ice, by Liza Crihfield Dalby
This was an interesting book. I think I would've appreciated it more had I owned a copy, and kept it around for a long time to read in little bits, instead of gulping it down with relative speed. Still, Dalby is a master of the evocative image and there were plenty of quietly stunning thought-pictures to be enjoyed.
