i haven't posted this late in ages

freakfish just left after playing Rock Band all night. I have drumstick blisters and my voice is creaky, but BOY was that fun.

I can sing some songs on Expert. Woot! I am a rock goddess, or something. (Someday, I want to be able to do at least 'hard' on all 4 instruments.)

Duuuuuuude! I woke up the next morning and found blisters on my fingers (little ones) and my right arm was a bit balky--that's the arm responsible for cymbals, you know. This on top of the more-than-slight hangover...

That effing Maps song is stuck in my head--both the drum part AND the words! I want to try some drum parts on hard, if for no other reason than to make bird say, "Dammit, fish," every time I screw up and he has to save me.

Hee. That sounds like fun. I'm glad Maps gets stuck in your head just as much as it does in mine. Mostly I get the long drawn out 'maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaps' stuck.
