This latest in the Nuala Anne McGrail series was more tightly put together (writing/plot-wise) than the last of his O'Malley books was, so I didn't have to feel even a smidge guilty about liking it. Really enjoyed it, excellent escape/refreshment reading.

Well, it's nice to know that the latest one was better...I quit reading them just because they became so obviously formulaic. I know he has a formula; he's admitted that there's a formula. But they've just been so formulaic, I wasn't enjoying them. I didn't read the most recent O'Malley book, either. Right now, I'm reading Piers Anthony.

just sayin'

Irish Cream sounds a lot like hibernian bukkake.

I'm reading the Incarnations of Immortality, which are just different enough to make me happy. I mean, they're all fighting Satan, but everybody has a different way to do it and they tie in kind of neatly.
