hero of the revolution
Dec. 24th, 2007 05:24 pmSo. Jay's sick. I go out, get grapefruit juice and other sundries, pick up the roses (!) and very-pretty-flowering-plant-I-can't-remember-the-name-of-though-it-starts-with-'ka' that my dad got me for Christmas, and get home. Feeling kind of sick myself by then. And THEN I discover, as I'm putting away dishes, that the cabinet with all the glasses in it is all wiggly.
Bah.
So following the rule about 'well, something can be almost broken for 3 months, but then if you notice it's almost broken, it'll break the rest of the way within 24 hours', I pointed it out to Jay. Who accompanied me to Home Depot where we bought a drill, some screws/anchors etc etc. Then he FIXED THE CABINET better than it was before it was broken. And also helped me put all the glasses back. Even though he is tired and sick. And it's Christmas Eve.
I have a fine spouse.
