Overclocked, by Cory Doctorow
I really like this guy's fiction. None of these stories bowled me over the way Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town does; still, no complaints, and I even enjoyed rereading the stories I'd already read fairly recently.

Y The Last Man: Cycles, by Brian Vaughan et al
This series continues to intrigue me, will be trying the next one in short order.

To the Nines, by Janet Evanovich
Funny, fluffy, still not tired of her.

Hunter of the Light, by Risa Aratyr
I was expecting a mediocre Celtic fantasy and instead I got a quite good Celtic fantasy - yay! Reminds me a bit of Hounds of the Morrigan even though the intended audience or imaginary reader or whomever is quite different.

Chronicles of Chrestomanci Vols 1 and 2: Charmed Life, The Lives of Christopher Chant; The Witches of Caprona, Witch Week, by Diana Wynne Jones
What fun these were! I absolutely loved them which means DWJ is now 5/5 with me. Must read more of her books.

Raphael, by R. A. MacAvoy
This is the sort of thing that I wouldn't like all that much if someone other than R. A. MacAvoy had written it (shades of Marion Zimmer Bradley in her Lysande mode, of which I was never all that fond). But because R. A. MacAvoy has such a wonderful voice, and because of all the odd little bits that I won't spoil for you, I liked it quite a lot, instead. Hurrah!
